YouTuber who bought prefabricated home off Amazon for $38,999 is left stunned after noticing key feature missing

A YouTuber who purchased a ready-made home off Amazon for $38,999 was left shocked after realizing the property did not come with electrical outlets.

Nathan Graham, 26, the leader of the popular YouTube channel Unspeakable, set out to see if the large online retailer could supply not just a home, but all of the furnishings that comes along with it.

He purchased the 19 by 20 foot Cherry Industrial prefabricated tiny home on Amazon, which sells for just over $17,400, not including taxes and shipping fees.

The expandable home sells on the company's website for about $39,000, including taxes and fees.

While attempting to hook up a fridge in the tiny home, Graham quickly realized he couldn't do so.

'I'm trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge but there's no electrical outlets,' the YouTuber said.

One of his friends chimed in: 'Did you not order the electrical package?'

The internet personality quickly realized he did not read the entire online description of the home, and missed that buyers still need to install a circuit to access electricity inside the makeshift property.

Thankfully, Graham planned ahead and was able to use a generator he bought to hook up the fridge, an 80-inch TV, and more.

Not only does the property not come with an electricity source, but according to Amazon, buyers need to supply their own household appliances, furniture, running water source and connections to drain and sewer pipes.

Graham and his buddies documented the unboxing and setup of the home in a YouTube video that has since amassed 7.5 million views.

Despite missing essential elements, the mobile home does come with other features, including a shower, bathroom and kitchen space.

Graham and his crew quickly unwrapped the home from a gigantic brown Amazon box.

At first, they were surprised at how compact it was before they realized it had to be unfolded, revealing four walls, windows and a roof.

Other than buying the home, the YouTuber also purchased a slew of necessities for the home, including a generator, which came in handy after noticing there was no electricity.

He also got a bunk bed, TV, couch, tables, a vacuum, games, kitchen appliances, and even food.

By the end of the experiment, Graham and his friends realized that you can truly order anything you need from Amazon, but you should read the fine print before placing your order.

These tiny prefabricated homes have recently taken over, as multiple brands are selling the properties on Amazon.

Another home, made by Emonia, comes with wind protection, fire protection, earthquake resistance, sun protection and rain and moisture resistance, according to the Amazon listing.

The $19,000 two-bedroom mobile home has an open-plan living room and kitchen area, and a bathroom fit with a toilet and shower.

This one also has a cozy fenced-in porch with stairs that lead up to the front door, plumbing, electricity and even a water heater.

The small home, costing less than a new Mitsubishi Mirage, may be a tempting option as home prices continue to hit all time highs.
