Patrick Goebel, CEO & President of Star Lumber, has announced Star Lumber’s acquisition through an asset purchase of Apex Lumber Company in Oklahoma. “We are excited to welcome the Apex team to the Star Lumber family; they are an important component of adding value to the products & services we provide the building community,” said Patrick Goebel.

The contractor yards are the newest additions to Star’s steady Oklahoma expansion including the truss plant in El Reno, OKand the countertop fabrication plant in Oklahoma City that both opened in 2022, as well as a builder flooring showroom in Tulsa that opened in 2023. Star has been operating a builder flooring showroom in Oklahoma City since 2008. These additions bring the Oklahoma team to nearly 100 employees.
