LPD Investigating Portable Toilet Fire At Southeast High School
Lincoln Police are investigating a case of vandalism at Southeast High School. Captain Todd Kocian says someone started a portable toilet on fire near the tennis courts.
"That porta-potty area was also near a gated equipment center for T-Mobile," Kocian says. The fire damaged some conduit and fiber wires. A second portable toilet was also damaged by the fire. Damage is estimated at $31,000.
Kocian says a nearby security camera shows the fire was started around 1:15 a.m. Saturday. A school employee reported the damage on Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000.
