YouTuber brags about $39K Amazon home — but ignores fine print

This new homeowner is charging ahead despite his lack of energy.

Nathan Graham of the YouTube channel “Unspeakable” purchased the ready-made home from Amazon for $38,999.

Graham, 26, wanted to see if the online retailer could supply a home and all the furnishings a home comes with, and when the house arrived, it came in an Amazon-branded box and had to be unfolded.

The house was complete with windows and a bathroom, though he noted that it didn’t come with any instructions.

But when Graham attempted to hook up a tiny fridge in the home, he realized that the 19-by-20-foot Chery Industrial prefabricated expandable house had no outlets to do so.

“I’m trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge, but there’s no electrical outlets,” he said in the unboxing video, which has garnered 7.5 million views.

“Did you not order the electrical package?” one of his friends quipped in response.

The YouTuber quickly realized that he didn’t read the full product description, which stated, “Reminder: Mobile Prefab House is not wired. Please hire an electrician for American standard wiring. Stay safe!”

Luckily for Graham, he planned ahead and bought a generator to hook up some of his important items, like the fridge and an 80-inch TV.

Graham also purchased a bunk bed, a couch, tables, a vacuum, games, kitchen appliances and food.

On top of no electrical outlets or sources, Amazon noted that the property does not come with household appliances, furniture, a running water source and connections to drain and sewer pipes. The buyer needs to supply these things on their own.

However, the home does come with a built-in bathroom, a shower and kitchen cabinets.

At first look, when it comes out of the box, the house looks slim and compact, but after Graham and his friends unfolded it, the home had four walls, a roof and windows.

Graham and his crew realized that you can actually order almost anything on Amazon, but it’s important to read the fine print to find out what it does and doesn’t come with.
