Worcester driver left without car after using phone | Worcester News
A DRIVER has been left without a car after being caught using their mobile phone in Worcester.
Police seized the car today (November 5) after the driver locked eyes with officers whilst using their phone.
The officers then stopped the car, found that it was not insured and suggested to the driver that they should use the same phone to call for a lift.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "When you are driving whilst holding your phone, staring at a marked police vehicle, it's probably a good idea to be insured as well.
"Driver has been reported for two offences and the vehicle seized.
"Might be an idea to use the phone for a lift."
