Railing damaged after Volkswagen collision at Cowes roundabout
A railing has been damaged following a single-vehicle collision at an Isle of Wight roundabout this afternoon (Wednesday, October 16).
Hampshire and IW Constabulary were alerted to reports of a crash on the outskirts of Cowes at around 1.50pm.
The incident happened on the Newport Road roundabout, connecting Three Gates Road and Saunders Drive.

A Green Volkswagen Caddy van was involved in the collision, and the affected area has been coned and taped off.
A police spokesperson confirmed that no injuries were reported.
The RAC was also called to the incident, and a crew from DH Price Motors has since recovered the vehicle.
